Brenda Mhlongo is a well-known South African actress best known for playing Nandi Mabaso in the SABC drama series ‘Generations: The Legacy.’

In 2017, she was the featured guest in an episode of the SABC1 music talk show Zaziwa, which aired on July 16 (Season 5, Episode 12).
A few months later, she was a guest on the SABC3 lifestyle show Top Billing, appearing in Season 27, Episode 20 (which aired on September 14, 2017).
Brenda was a guest presenter at the 11th SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards, held on November 25, 2018.
The following year, she was cast as Zodwa on the Mzansi Magic soap opera The Queen, making her first appearance in the role in the Season 3 finale, which aired on July 26, 2019. She continued in the role in Season 4.

In 2020, Brenda replaced Fundi Zwane mid-season in the role of Priscilla “KaMadonsela” Bhengu on the e.tv soap opera Imbewu, starting July 27 after Zwane was unable to negotiate a salary increase.
In 2022, she joined the cast of the 1Magic soap opera The River in the role of Nomafu, Bukhosi’s younger, second wife—a terrible stepmother, but she knows how to clean money.
