“Gifted her a hijacked car” Londie London’s ex Mabonga
Londie London’s BMW, which her ex-boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga gifted her, has reportedly been impounded by the police.
Musician Londie London has allegedly lost “her” BMW 330i after the police confiscated it.
According to Sunday World, the car (which the singer received from her ex-boyfriend Sphamandla Mabonga last year) was allegedly a stolen vehicle.

In May 2023, the former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star flaunted a BMW X5 on social media. Almost a week later, she showed off another BMW, also from Mabonga.
Sources close to the police told the publication that the car was seized last month. Investigations reportedly reveal that the car was hijacked and belonged to a security company in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
Police are said to also be looking for a Bentley and a BMW i8.
The outlet further reveals that the investigation forms part of Mabonga’s charges which were levelled against him after a shooing outside Tempo Luxury Restaurant and Lounge in Sandton last month.
After the shooting, the businessman was charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm. The source also disclosed that police seized several firearms which are allegedly illegal.
Mabonga was hospitalised after being shot in the ribs in January. He was reportedly under police watch following the shootout between him and security personnel at the establishment.
“I heard that he was arrested after he was admitted so the police are watching him. I got a call because I have opened a case against him. [Police] called me to come and identify the suspect so he can be arrested for my matter,” a source said.
In the statement, Tempo management said that the incident occurred outside the restaurant where three people were wounded.
“During the incident, an individual attempted to enter our establishment with firearms. Our steadfast security team, enforcing our strict policy against firearms entering the premises, denied the individual entry, leading to a verbal dispute.
“Regrettably the incident escalated and resulted in the wounding of two of our staff members as well as the said individual. The incident unfolded outside the premises, and none of our patrons inside the establishment were harmed,” it said.
The establishment, which extended its heartfelt and sincere apologies to the victims affected by the incident, said it is “fully committed to supporting them during their recovery.”
