Gqeberha: The Empire actress Zikhona Sodlaka leaves Lady Du in tears

Well-known South African star, Gqeberha: The Empire actress Zikhona Sodlaka’s farewell left Lady Du and fans in tears on 10 February.

Zikhona had been one of the most loved actors in Gqeberha: The Empire. She starred alongside veteran actors Zandile Msutwana, Thembinkosi Ngcukana, and Anele Matoti.

Zikhona played the Bulelwa Mxenge role and many fans considered her the best actor on the show. After completing the first season, Zikhona didn’t return for the second and she didn’t reveal the reason behind her departure from the show.

She left many fans guessing for about two months if it was true that she had left the show, but here is the goodbye. After Zikhona gave her farewell, she left many fans in tears; among them was musician Lady Du, who cried.

“Please come back; shame this thing is boring now ” Lady Du cried.

Sharing on her Instagram, the talented actress was honoured to be part of the show. She also thanked God for giving her the gift of acting.

“What a pleasure, an honour and a privilege it is to do what I do with all my heart.” she started. “Thank you, God, for the Gift I didn’t ask for & for paving my path, Always. Ndi bamba ngazo zozibini, kuni nonke…Kuboooooo!” she finished.

After Zikhona Sodlaka gave her farewell to Gqeberha: The Empire, many fans cried for her return.
