‘Heart is so full’: Handre Pollard’s son meets his parents

Springboks flyhalf, Handre Pollard introduced his one-month-old son, Hunter to his parents after he returned to South Africa from the UK.

Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks flyhalf Handre Pollard, shared a photo of their son Baby Hunter, meeting his paternal grandparents via an Instagram Story on Friday 31 May.

HANDRE POLLARD’S SON MEETS HIS PARENTS

South African rugby player Handre Pollard and his wife, Marise returned to South Africa earlier this week. The pair currently live in the UK. According to MailOnline, Handre and Marise call the town of Market Harborough, in England home. Handre moved to the UK in 2022, when he signed a R14 million a year contract with Leicester Tigers.

The Leicester Tigers players have a little break as their next game in only in September. So, Handre and Marise are enjoying sometime back home in South Africa. Marise revealed that their baby Hunter Andre Pollard met his paternal grandparents (Andre and Karen Pollard) via an Instagram Story on Friday 31 May.

“Our heart is so full,” wrote Marise.

“My namesake grandfather Andre,” she also wrote.

THE POLLARDS RETURNED TO SOUTH AFRICA

Marise, Handre and Hunter touched down in South Africa on Wednesday 29 May, as revealed by an Instagram Story. Take a look…

“Woke up in South Africa,” she wrote. In the next slide she she revealed that she and Handre were happiest there.

In another Instagram Story, Marise also revealed that her family met Hunter for the first time, and he was surrounded by love.

Hunter is the third Springboks baby born in 2024. Eben and Anlia Etzebeth welcomed their first child, a baby girl to the world in January. Faf and Mine de Klerk then welcomed their first child, also a baby girl in February. Now, there’s one more on the way… Stacy Mbonambi, the wife of Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi, announced her pregnancy on Mother’s Day, 12 May.
