The well-known actor Hlomla Dandala has returned to the small screen. This time, he’s returned to the cast of Smoke and Mirrors, the hit drama on e.tv, where he’ll be portraying Caesar, a character that was previously played by Zolisa Xaluva.
Hlomla Dandala has replaced Zolisa Xaluva in the role, according to TVSA. According to the report, Dandala’s agent, Mari Rothmann from FigJam Agency, confirmed his new role, and Xaluva left the show in April.His agency reveals that the talented actor will appear on the show as Caesar on Monday, April 15.
This comes after Sunday World revealed that Smoke and Mirrors producer Final Chapter Productions confirmed that it had split up with actor Zolisa Xaluva.Unconfirmed sources revealed that the reason why actor Zolisa Xaluva was fired from Smoke and Mirrors was because of salaries. After months of negotiations and trying to reach a resolution, both sides didn’t reach an agreement.

According to Mzansi Magic, Zolisa Xaluva, who starred in Smoke and Mirrors, will play the major role of Bheki Ndlovu, a tough Jozi investigator, in Code 13.Thami Mngqolo, star of Generations, who played Xaluva’s love interest in the SABC1 serial opera, will reunite with the actor.
