“I paid lobola R100 000 lobola for my beautiful wife Charmaine and I will be taking a second one soon,” he told the publication.

‘SHE WAS MORE INTO CONTENT’

The aspiring polygamist introduced his new partner to his Instagram followers in October 2023. This was almost seven months after his break-up from Nonku.

Ndlazi told ZiMoja that his relationship with Nonku failed because they were not on the same page. According to him, the mother-of-three wanted to get married for the wrong reasons.

“She wanted to get married after she was promised her own show,” he said. “I was in it for love, but it seems like she was more into content than the relationship.”

He also accused her of being a control freak.

“She started controlling me. I felt like I was the girlfriend and not the other way around. She wanted things done her way.

“Never. That chapter is closed. I walked away for a reason. There is no real man who can stand her and her controlling ways. She is too much of a crowd pleaser.”

RAPE CASE AGAINST NDLAZI

The former couple made headlines and trended for all the wrong reasons last year, including rape and scamming allegations levelled against Ndlazi.

According to a 2014 article by the Zululand Observer, the businessman was accused of allegedly raping a 20-year-old woman. He was arrested and later released on R2 000 bail. In addition, a media statement on the South African Police Services (SAPS) website revealed that he was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2016.

While Nonku was aware of the case, she vehemently told ZiMoja last year that nothing anyone says about Ndlazi would come between them. She further revealed that, according to his version, he was falsely accused and only served six months behind bars.

“He told me he was arrested for rape… he was arrested for five, six months,” she said.

“I saw somebody. I fell in love with him. I saw a side to him that a lot of people didn’t see.”
