SBAHLE MPISANE DISCUSSES HER INJURY

During one of the scenes of the second season of the reality TV show, the fitness bunny speaks to her stepmother, Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize, about buying her 15 moon boots.

According to Sbahle, moon boots (unlike crutches) give her comfort and she feels less of a burden to her loved ones. MaMkhize – who is a multi-millionaire and the owner of DStv Premiership side, Royal AM – disagrees. The author feels that it’s time her stepdaughter learns to functions without the orthopedic device.

“Ma, I don’t have an ankle bone, which means I would never be able to wear a sneaker here [pointing at her right foot] and I would never be able to wear crutches. So I’m happy here,” Sbahle says.

‘YOU ARE NOT DISABLED’

In her diary session, Sbahle explains that wearing a moon boot gives her flexibility and comfort.

“I can go to gym. I can train and I can do just about everything you can do. With crutches, you are just limping. You actually look like a problem. That’s how I look at it,” she says.

Sbahle added that she is grateful to still have both her feet.

However, MaMkhize argued that 10 moon boots are enough. The businesswoman believes that Sbahle will does not have to rely on moon boots for the rest of her life.

“You’re not disabled. It’s all in your mind,” MaMkhize says.
