Though it is unclear what character Mlangeni will portray, fans of the actor are thrilled he’s secured a role in the series.

YouthVillage reports that actors Tony Kgoroge, Desmond Dube, Sonia Mbele and Sthandile Nkosi have also joined the second season.

Senior Account Lead Mpho Mashigo tells Briefly that season two will pick up where the first one left off.

“The new season picks up right where season one left off, with everyone out for blood. Stately patriarch Don Bhengu (Dumisani Mbebe) is losing control over his wife Grace (Nthati Moshesh) and children Phila (Jesse Suntele) and Linda (Nambitha Ben-Mazwi).”

“His unpredictable actions threaten to tear the family and business apart. Actors Eve Rasimeni, Angela Sithole, and Oros Mampofu reprise their roles, joined by veterans Tony Kgoroge and Abena Ayivor, and newcomer Lebogang Fisher.”

Mlangeni is also famously known for his roles in Shaka Ilembe as King Langa and Thato Mokoena in 1Magic’s The River.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ‘SAVAGE BEAUTY’ SEASON TWO

Savage Beauty first premiered in May 2022 and is created by Lebogang Mogashoa and produced by Quizzical Pictures.

The series follows Zinhle played by Rosemary Zimu. Her character is a young woman with a tragic past, who is driven by a relentless desire for revenge.

She wants to uncover the Bhengu family’s dark secrets and wants justice for their heinous crime.

Zimu is joined by actors Dumisani Mbebe, Nthati Moshesh, Angela Sithole, Jesse Suntele, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, and Oros Mampofu.

Sadly, actor Mpho Sebeng, who played Zimu’s brother in season one is not part of the second season. Sebeng passed away in a car accident on 5 May.
