‘It’s in God’s hands’: Elton Jantjies has female fan in tears

Former Springbok Elton Jantjies – who recently confirmed his new career venture – had a female fan in tears over their encounter…

Disgrace former Springbok Elton Jantjies has shared a clip of his encounter with an emotional female fan.

Earlier this week, the infamous flyhalf shared news of his new job as a coach for a South African rugby academy.

This comes weeks after the South African Institute of Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) confirmed his four-year ban amid a doping incident last year.

Elton has also faced several personal life crises too, including allegations of an affair with Springbok dietician Zeenat Simjee and reports he stalked and abused former girlfriend, Ashleigh Ogle.

FEMALE FAN IN TEARS OVER VIDEO MESSAGE

In a clip posted on his Instagram account, Elton Jantjies shared how an emotional fan reacted to his message of motivation.

In it, a blonde woman was seen wiping tears away as he wished her well on her health journey.

The former Springbok said: “You will be in my prayers. It’s in God’s hands, and he will determine the success.

He continued: “Have a smile on your face, and know you will come out on top. I’m behind you, too.”

The 33-year-old has previously offered fans a one-on-one session with fans for R650.

The chat has been given various descriptions, including:

  • Telling the story on and off the field
  • The story behind me
  • Live Q & A
  • The ‘truth’

Last month, the prospect of him playing professionally came crashing down after SAIDS confirmed that Elton had not exercised his right to appeal his failed drug tests, reported Planet Rugby.

CEO Khalid Galant said the appeal window has now closed, effectively ushering in the four-year ban.

In recent months, Elton has failed to make the Springbok squad in a series of test matches. He’s also reportedly been let go of clubs Agen and Red Hurricanes over several scandals.

ELTON JANTJIES SET FOR NEW JOB

Meanwhile, Elton Jantjies is set to begin his new chapter as the new kicking and attack coach at the Rugga School, a South African rugby academy.

According to their website, the “all-year-round rugby academy is driven to develop and condition the skills of young players.”

Based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, the school aims to “perfect technique, skill development, and psychological self-improvement.”

Elton will join the likes of former rugby players like PJ Steenkamp, Manny Ras, and Vaughan Isaacs.
