Mzansi has dubbed Valentine’s Day as Lerato Kganyago’s Valentine’s, and here’s the reason why.

Imagine having one of the most important days of the year being named after you. Well, that is what many internet users have termed Valentine’s Day, renaming it Lerato Kganyago Day.

Radio and television show host Lerato Kganyago can rightfully claim the day as hers as she has continuously had the most lavish Valentine’s Day surprises from her husband Thami Ndala.

In 2020 the couple had a traditional celebration in an intimate gathering at their lavish home, pictures and videos were later shared by close friends such as Craig Jacobs.

Celebrating the day of love, Lerato’s previous Valentine’s Day gifts includes a house full of red roses with a saxophonist and a piano artist serenading the media personality.

Thami also booked a stadium just for Lerato, with a cosy set up, a private chef and the queen of vocals Zonke Dikana chanting her popular love songs.

In 2022 Thami had helicopters flying out I love you signs for his wife, before gifting her with Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. Lerato also received a boutique hotel, 12 On Hillel Villa & Spa situated in North Cliff of Johannesburg.

Lerato’s past Valentine’s Day gifts
In 2021, Lerato’s husband booked the entire FNB Stadium and had her favourite artist, Zonke, exclusively performing for her.

In 2022, he struck again, gifting her with the renovation of a mansion transformed into the luxurious five-star boutique hotel, 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa in Randburg.

“Some of you might have seen what it looked like before, a few months ago when I posted it on my Insta stories. I can’t wait for you to see the final product. He said: ‘Stop stressing hold my Taelo umfazi wam [my wife], let me show you something,” Lerato wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post showing off the hotel.
