Chaos erupts as group of men attack Piti
Chaos ensued when a neighbour and a group of men allegedly attacked Letsepileng.
He was allegedly struck on the head with a knopkierie and shot in the upper body, dying at the scene.
Letsepileng’s relative said the neighbour and his friends have caused pain and trauma to her family.
“Sadly, one can be attacked, shot, and even killed for asking what happened to his daughter. This shows how our lives have become so cheap to these people,” she said.
On that fateful day, their daughter was allegedly playing with other kids when a neighbour called her over.
“As a kid, she innocently went to the neighbour’s house, who gave her a cold drink. Then, a neighbour touched our daughter’s breast, and she ran out,” claimed the relative.
She claimed that the family watched their dad being attacked and kicked while on the ground.
“He managed to get up and tried to run away, but one of the men shot him at close range.”
“It’s heartbreaking that PLetsepileng was killed like a dog by a neighbour and his friends,” she claimed.
Police spokesman Warrant Officer Majang Skalkie confirmed the incident, stating a murder case has been opened at Vosloorus cop shop but no arrests have been made. The police are currently investigating the matter
