‘Love our Bok family’: Rachel Kolisi reminisces about RWC 2023 [watch]

Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel reminisced about the 2023 Rugby World Cup following the release of ‘Chasing The Sun 2’

Rachel Kolisi, the wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, reminisced about the 2023 Rugby World Cup after the release of documentary Chasing The Sun 2, revealed via an Instagram Story on Sunday 21 April.

RACHEL KOLISI ON RUGBY WORLD CUP 2023

Springboks first lady, Rachel Kolisi revealed that she was reminiscing about the 2023 Rugby World Cup after the release of documentary Chasing The Sun 2. Chasing The Sun 2 is a five-part docuseries, which premiered on Sunday 24 March on M-Net (DStv channel 101). The last episode of the series aired on Sunday 21 April on M-Net at 20:00.

“Chasing the Sun 2 is not just a sports documentary – it’s a celebration of South African pride, diversity, determination, and the unyielding spirit of a nation rallying under the banner of Stronger Together,” reads the synopsis of the series according to DSTV.

Following the docuseries, Rachel took to Instagram to reminisce about the Rugby World Cup 2023. Her husband, Siya Kolisi led the Springboks to defeat the All Blacks at the final and become double-World Cup Champions. She expressed that it was a stressful time, but there was nothing like seeing South African united.

“Chasing the sun 2 has me reminiscing. Very possibly one of the most stressful times in our lives, but goodness there’s nothing like South Africans pulling together in the same direction. Love our Bok family so much ❤️,” she wrote.

“I miss our family bubble not the stress 😂,” commented Layla Kolbe.

Springboks’ fans took to the comments section of the post, to show love for the South African national team.

“What am incredible documentary! Even though I knew the results, I was still on the edge of my seat. Such a proud and uniting time! And how emotional it was .. even watching it again,” commented @veritybreetzke.

“They prove to me that each of us has the ability to be a world champion at what we do. Viva South Africa Viva,” wrote @marcuspaulse.

“It has us all reminiscing! The heart palpitations started all over again 😂 was a such an amazing reminder how we can come together as a country and celebrate our unity in sport!!” wrote @tasiafourie26.

This comes after Rachel returned to South Africa this past week while Siya took care of the kids in Paris.
