Due to poor financial management by the production, the drama was never shown on screen. It was said that the crew was never paid for their labour. She then got a part in eHostela playing Khethiwe, her first notable appearance. She played a woman who wanted to become a maskandi star but passed away in the first season.

Lungelo made an appearance in the Mzansi Magic film, Themba Lam. The famous show, produced by graduates of M-Magic Net’s in Motion Academy, premiered on Mzansi Magic in June 2019. In the incredible show, a young man supports his lover’s education by paying for it, only to be duped later.
