Luyanda Zwane confirms breakup with Sparky Xulu.
Actress Luyanda Zwane has confirmed her split from fellow actor Sparky Xulu, known for his role in ‘The Estate’.The Sibongile and Dlaminis actress recently shared that her relationship with actor Sparky Xulu has come to an end.
Luyanda Zwane informs Zimoja that she and Sparky Xulu, her lover, have ended their relationship. In addition, she states that she continues to have faith in love.“We broke up; unfortunately, it happens. I still believe in love, though. People break up all the time. I hope to find someone one day. I can’t say much about what happened,” she said.
Zwane adds that she is in a good place, and she’s currently working on a big modelling campaign.“I have something major coming up in the modelling space that I am excited about. We can forget about all the negativity. Bigger things are coming,” she adds.
The celebrity couple, Luyanda Zwane and Sparky Xulu, caused quite a stir on social media on Thursday, February 22, due to their significant 14-year age difference.This is after entertainment blogger Musa Khawula took to social media to criticise Xulu for dating Zwane, who is more than ten years younger than him.
Interestingly, Zwane took to her Instagram to reveal that she celebrated her 20th birthday on February 7, while Xulu is said to be 34 years old.Fans of the The Estate actor also slammed Khawula’s criticism by reminding him that Xulu is not committing a crime by dating Zwane, as she’s over 18 years old.
It’s a bit of a mystery when their romance started, but these two lovebirds first shared the screen on BET’s telenovela, Redemption, and decided to take the plunge and move in together earlier this year.
Luyanda humorously says that all the events that have unfolded so far have simply been part of her adventurous journey, but she is currently in a very favourable position.She revealed her decision to leave the show “Sibongile and the Dlamini” to ZiMoja, citing personal reasons. However, she made sure to fulfil her commitment for season one.
