Lynn Forbes, the mom of slain rapper AKA, consoled an emotional Nadia Nakai at AKA’s art and merchandise exhibition, which took place at SOOK Mall Of Africa, Gauteng on 13 January.

Rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, was shot dead outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February 2023.

The rapper left behind his family, his mother Lynn, his father Tony and his daughter Kairo, among others. AKA also left his girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, and they were united at his art and merchandise exhibition. It was an emotional event for most of his loved ones, and among them was Nadia, who struggled to control her tears.
