Mama Joy wins award at the Africa Cup of Nations
Top supporter Mama Joy wins a top fan award for the final round of 16 games between South Africa and Morocco.
South African su[porter Mama Joy won the Fan of the Match award for the match against Morocco. South Africa and Morocco locked horns on January 30, and Mama Joy was in the stands.
As usual, she was putting on her colourful outfits that took all the attention of fans.
Her singing, dancing and support left even opposite fans gazing at her as South Africa went to the quarter-finals 2-0. Many fans trolled Mama Joy a few days ago, saying she ditched Bafana Bafana. They claimed she was not putting enough effort into supporting Bafana as she did with the Springboks.
As the talk continued, Mama Joy answered with actions as she won the Fan of the Match award from the Confederation of African Football (Caf). Announcing at their X (Twitter) handle, they were impressed by her dress. “That’s how you dress up as a football fan! 🇿🇦. Our @orange fan of the match of the final round of 16 games 💯”
HOW DID MAMA JOY WIN AN AWARD AGAINST MOROCCO?
Against Morocco, Mama Joy did what she does best: dressing up for the game she loved.
She came up putting on the famous green and yellow South African colours, and fans loved it.
She also painted her face with the same colours and had a scarf written in South Africa.
She had a well-made hat on her head with her name written on the front.
