Springbok Makazole Mapimpi has found himself at the centre of malicious and defamatory accusations made by an influencer and reality TV star – Kanya Mtsaka – who claimed to have had an affair with him.
The rugby player is married to eSwati beauty Sasha de Sousa, and the couple have a baby boy together.
MAPIMPI ACCUSED OF AFFAIR
According to celebrity bloggers Maphepha Ndaba, an influencer named Kanya Mtsaka shared screenshots of alleged DMs sent to her by Makazole Mapimpi.
The woman claimed that the Springbok had sent her money via eWallet and had messaged her about meeting in person.
She told the bloggers: “Women are always painted as homewreckers destroying people’s marriages…this man did not have to let me into his life like that if he was married.
She added, “I don’t even watch rugby or care about social media, so these things I wouldn’t have known”.

The bloggers later shared an update that the woman was “spreading false claims that were defamatory”. They retracted their post about allegations of an affair.
Neither Mapimpi nor Kanya have publicly addressed the rumours.
