MASKANDI musician Mongezi “Mayoghurt” Jama has confirmed that he’s in a romantic relationship with Ukhozi FM presenter Bings Mpanza.

The musician and the presenter had a romantic supper at Suncoast Casino in Durban, KZN on Wednesday, 21 May.

Mayoghurt, who is also known as iBliss kaZwelonke in music, publicly proposed marriage and the presenter said “Yes” during their romantic outing.

The two have been showing off their relationship in public for the past few months since they started dating.

Mayoghurt, who is also a reality TV star on Mzansi Magic’s Short and Sweet, confirmed to Daily Sun that he proposed to the presenter.

The 23-year-old musician from Umzimkhulu, southern KZN told Daily Sun that they’ve dated for a few months, and he believes that it’s time to propose to her.

“I’m happy that she said ‘Yes’ and she was happy that I proposed marriage to her. We’ve been dating for a few months, but I’ve realised that she’s my soulmate.

“I won’t rush for the wedding day, but I’ll start preparing for it and when everything goes according to my plans, then we will announce the wedding date,” he said.

Asked about the age gap between them, Mayoghurt said age is just a number and love knows no age.

Bingelela Mpanza (34) from Nongoma, KZN, who is also a popular musician, confirmed to Daily Sun that she said “Yes” to Mayoghurt.

“He proposed and I said ‘Yes’. Now friends can start preparing their outfits for the wedding day. I said ‘Yes’ because now it’s rare to get a marriage proposal. When someone proposes marriage to you, don’t waste time, just say ‘Yes’ because he might look elsewhere,” she said.
