South African musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz, shared a birthday tribute to his wife’s “baby daddy” slain rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, on his 36th birthday on 28 January.
MURDAH BONGZ’ BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE TO AKA
Murdah Bongz penned a short and sweet birthday message to his wife – South African DJ Ntombezinhle Mohosana, popularly known as DJ Zinhle’s “baby daddy”, slain rapper AKA. Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA was shot dead outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on 10 February – just two weeks after he turned 35.
DJ Zinhle shares eight-year-old daughter Kairo Forbes with AKA. She also has a daughter named Asante Mohosana with Murdah Bongz. Sunday 28 January marked the slain rapper’s heavenly 36th birthday. Murdah Bongz shared a photo of DJ Zinhle posing with a portrait of AKA on Instagram, wishing him a happy heavenly birthday. Take a look…

Zinhle also revealed how difficult AKA’s death has been for her as a mother.
“Kairo had a tough week leading up to Kiernan’s birthday, as a mother, I want her to heal & celebrate her dad but it’s too soon. The past year has been a roller coaster, my God!!! Everyday I hold my breath hoping she’s okay… I feel helpless cause I can’t help my child deal with the pain,” she captioned the post.
