“If she agrees that we take a fifth wife, everything will be fine. But I have never said there is someone. MaCele’s go-ahead will mean I can go look for someone and take a fifth wife,” he said.

MaCele’s family appears to have made the choice for her, even if she hasn’t made one yet. Her family appeared on the most recent episode of Uthando Nes’thembu, and they requested that she accept number five.Musa would be happy if she accepted and gave him permission, according to her sisters and parents.

“We’re waiting for MaCele because she’s the one who has power to agree whether he can take the fifth wife. Even if she is there or not, it does not mean anything if MaCele did not agree. She’s the one who will pave a way for us. We also have hope that if we continue to ask her, she’ll end up agreeing,” said Musa.

The 49-year-old polygamist from Mzumbe, Kwa-Madlala, KZN, remains optimistic that his first wife will reconsider her decision.Musa currently has four wives and ten children.
