Former Imbewu: The Seed actor Muzi Mthabela, who plays Nkosiyabo Cele in Generations, has joined the telenovela My Brother’s Keeper.



Generations: The Legacy actor and video editor Muzi Mthabela recently joined SABC’s Ukhozi FM.The station announced the appointment of the seasoned actor, who also starred in Isibaya and Imbewu: The Seed, when they shared their lineup for the 2024–2025 broadcasting season.

The actor Muzi Mthabela has joined the second season of My Brother’s Keeper, and according to sources, he will be playing Mshengu’s brother. Season 2 premieres on April 22 on Mzansi Magic at 19:30.



Plot shifts in season two of My Brothers Keeper will keep viewers hooked on the screen.Donga will have to act as the older brother to step in and save the family when the Great Mshengu is ultimately jailed, leaving the family shattered by his cruel conduct. But will he be successful? As Mshengu appears to be facing death, his final desire is for Donga to become the leader of the family. Additionally, as Nqubeko struggles with the shame of his greatest secret, Ndumiso’s love for Puseletso appears to be eroding.

On the other hand, Mshengu is exposed by Nqubeko as the one who pulled the plug on Khwezi’s life support at the start of the series. All this because he found out Mshengu was behind the collapse of his venture to start his own business away from his father’s grip.

And of course, Fakazile, ‘the angry makoti’, will be turning the tables on the family, challenging some of the preserved cultural practices that will send Mshengu into a tailspin.
