Mzansi, cold front is coming
COLD front lands across Mzansi.

Citizens are warned to brace for a drop in temperatures this week as a powerful cold front is set to make landfall across various regions of the country.
The South African Weather Service issued alerts as the system moves in from the west, bringing with it a mix of cold conditions, strong winds and scattered rainfall.
Forecaster Tokelo Chiloane confirmed that the Western Cape will be among the first to feel the impact of the cold front, with strong winds accompanying the icy conditions.
Rainfall is expected to be more widespread across other parts of the country.
“The southern parts of the country will be dominated by isolated to scattered showers and thunder showers both on Tuesday, 20 May and Wednesday, 21 May,” she said.
Temperatures are expected to drop as the cold spreads inland, reaching the southern regions of Northern Cape and gradually moving toward the northern provinces.
“It’s going to be very cold in the Western Cape, as well as southern parts of Northern Cape. This cold will spread to the northern parts of the country, reaching Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo on Wednesday,” said Chiloane.
Residents are advised to take precautions, especially in areas expecting severe wind chill and rainfall.
