Celebrated and rapidly rising, Kaylin Soobramanian is best recognized for his role as Thu Sheleni on Imbewu: The Seed. The actor rose from a supporting role in the drama series to become one of its most well-known faces; however, the soap opera was canceled.The actor has been off-trend for the past few months, but recently he has come to top trends after a controversial photo circulated on social media.

Since his exit from Imbewu, many fans have been wondering where the actor is. With the actor’s talent, many wish him to get more gigs. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to his Twitter account to post Kaylin Soobramanian’s picture wearing sangoma outfits after months of people wondering where the actor was gone.

With surprise, many on social media flocked to the comment area, asking if the actor had indeed turned into a sangoma. People were only forced to make assumptions as to whether the actor was onset or whether he is now a traditional healer when Phil Mphela remained silent about the photo he posted.

Kaylin Soobramanian’s role on Imbewu was his first gig, and he got the role because he is good at speaking Zulu.When Imbewu’s director traveled to Inanda to find an Indian lad for the TV play who could speak IsiZulu, he happened to run with Kaylin’s lifelong friends.He moved in with Madoda in KwaMashu, Durban, for a month to study acting after fulfilling the requirements. The audition was next, and after impressing everyone, he got a call the next day to announce he had been cast.
