One of them in the snaps is Kolisi’s childhood friend Tamsanqa Ncwana. The other is Kuhle Sonkosi, a former professional rugby player for the Eastern Province Kings. He shared a funny video on the post and said Kolisi wanted him to pay for breakfast. Kolisi responded by saying yes he must pay for the breakfast because he had kids to take care of.

He also visited others in the neighbourhood and The Kolisi Field. This is a rugby field at his former school Grey High School for Boys. It was renamed in 2022 to honour Kolisi.
