“Pearl Monama Bids Farewell to Generations: The Legacy – Sphe’s Journey Comes to an End”

Dramatic character evolution
Sphe’s storyline took a dark turn when it was revealed that she was the daughter of notorious villain Jack Mabaso. Over the years, she became entangled in criminal cover-ups, messy romantic entanglements, and shady business dealings.
Her marriage to Mazwi Moroka, played by Musa Ngema, marked a major turning point in her character arc.

Exit from the show
As season 34 kicks off, Sphe will be exiting the series alongside Detective Pele Dali Malinga. Although their final appearance date has not yet been confirmed, fans can expect a dramatic farewell.

New faces join the cast
The soapie welcomes four new cast members: Tinah Mnumzana, Nozuko Ntshangase, Sannah Mchunu, and Phillip “Tipo” Tindisa. Additionally, fan-favourite Buntu Petse returns after her 2024 departure.
When contacted, the show’s publicist confirmed Pearl Monama would not be giving interviews at this time.
