Phumzile Thulisile kills his ex-boyfriend using petrol

Another day, another shocking news in Mzansi as another person has became a victim of Gender Based Violence (GBV) in South Africa and ended up losing his life.

GBV has claimed yet another life. This time a man was robbed of his life allegedly by a woman.

It is alleged that a young woman only known as “Phumzile Thulisile” from Namakgale township outside Phalaborwa had a browl with her former lover “Pardon Ntethelelo Mavimbela” on Saturday 22 December outside a popular night club in Phalaborwa

Eyewitnesses say that the pair got into an ugly fight on that fatefull evening.

“Whenever they bump into each other there would be an ugly confrontation, because the lady can’t move on and accept that their relationship is over, this is despite several protection orders being instituted against “Phumzile” and they were all violated,” .

During the browl “Mavimbela” who stays in Phalaborwa town was advised by his friends to leave and go home in order to avoid further confrontation, where the ex-girlfriend later followed him to his house, got into the house doused him and herself with petrol and set both of them on fire.

They were both rushed to hospital by paramedics for medical attention.

Mavimbela succumbed to his injuries on Thursday the 26th of December, Phumzile is in a critical condition in ICU.
