Since winning their second consecutive Rugby World Cup last year, many Springboks have been busy off the pitch – making babies! And for many of their WAGs, this means their first Mother’s Day.

Over the past few months, these Springbok players and their wives have shared the exciting news of their baby’s birth.
Here is celebrating their first Mother’s Day…
Marise Pollard, wife of Handre Pollard
Marise gave birth to the couple’s first child – son Hunter Andre – earlier this month.
She captioned a sweet post of his birth: “The Lord knows the best thing that I’ll ever do is growing up raising you. One week with our Hunter boy, and man oh man, we are so in love”.

Miné de Klerk, wife of Faf de Klerk
The print-size Springbok scrum sent his wife a special message on her first Mother’s Day.
“Handling motherhood like a champ. Remi-Ré is very lucky to have you”, he said of his partner, who is living in South Africa while he is based in Japan.
“I am so blessed and grateful to be your mom,” Miné posted on her own Instagram account.

Anlia Etzebeth, the wife of Eben Etzebeth
Although he cuts an intimidating figure on the pitch, Eben Etzebeth is a big softie when it comes to the ladies in his life, his wife Anlia and their baby girl.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better wife and mother to our child,” he captioned a post to his partner.

Kelsey Thomas, longtime girlfriend of Herschel Jantjies
Springbok 2019 World Cup champ Herschel and his partner are celebrating the latter’s first Mother’s Day with daughter Alyssa Rose.
“Growing up, raising you,” Kelsey captioned a post with the gorgeous little girl.

BONGI MBONAMBI AND WIFE JOIN THE LIST
Meanwhile, Springbok WAG Stacy Mbonambi – the wife of Bongi Mbonambi – announced her second pregnancy on Mother’s Day.
In it, the soon-to-be mom-of-two posted pictures of her growing baby bump being lovingly kissed by her firstborn daughter, Esa.
She shared: “Love being a mom, now I’ll be a mom of two in a few months. Surprise, surprise, can only keep a secret for so long….”
Stacy continued: “Being a mom is so many things at once. I can’t describe it in one word, but it’s the best thing ever, and it’s also the hardest thing ever. Only by God’s grace and mercy was I able to be the best mom to my girl; now, five years later, He blessed me with another.
“God’s time is a perfect time; I’m in a much better place mentally and emotionally than a few years ago.”
