SIYA KOLISI ENJOYS CAPE TOWN BREAK

For the last week, Siya Kolisi has been enjoying the sights and scenes of the Mother City. This started with a visit to Sevens Rugby at the DHL Stadium last weekend.

He’s also been posting pictures of himself wining and dining with friends, meeting fans, and, of course, enjoying the beautiful beaches.

“Danko, Kaapstad [Thank you, Cape Town],” he posted from a view of his luxury penthouse in an area that appeared to be Sea Point.

Siya then revealed his trip had come to an end, and he was set to return to Durban, the home of his club, the Sharks.

The 34-year-old was one of several experienced players who were left off the squad that travelled to the UK to play Leicester Tigers. The England club – which features fellow Springbok Handre Pollard – beat the KZN club 56-17.

However, Siya is likely to play in next weekend’s game against the Bulls at Kings Park Stadium. A week later, he will likely return to Cape Town, where the Sharks will face off against the Stormers for the last game of 2024.

WHERE IS RACHEL AND FAMILY?
While Siya Kolisi spent his time alone in Cape Town, the rest of his family is currently enjoying their own vacation in Australia.

Earlier this week, Rachel, their two kids, and his sister Liphelo jetted off halfway across the world.

Rachel met up with her siblings, which included Joel Smith and his wife, retired Olympic swimmer Tatjana Smith.

It’s unclear if Rachel and the kids will return before Christmas or if Siya will join them Down Under.
