After his Morocco display, Pitso Mosimane penned a lengthy, heartfelt letter praising Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena.

Veteran coach Pitso Mosimane praised Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena after his display against Morocco. South Africa booked its place in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) after defeating Morocco on 30 January.

The team performed well as they organised themselves perfectly in defence and attack.

They finished the first half without a goal but twerked their tactics in the second half and scored twice. On the score sheet was Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena, who scored in the dying minutes. After the match, Bafana Bafana celebrated with their fans, and Mokoena was the Man of the Match. His performance caught Pitso’s attention as he shared his thoughts on X (Twitter).

Pitso was already convinced by Mokoena well before he scored. He also spoke about Bafana’s chances of winning the tournament, showing his belief in them.
