Thabo Bester and Nandipha share ‘romantic’ moment.
Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana, famously known as South Africa’s “Bonnie and Clyde,” had a rather “romantic” encounter after their court appearance on Wednesday, 5 June.
The couple made their appearance in the Free State High Court, standing alongside seven others, as they face charges of assisting his prison escape, fraud, corruption, and violating multiple bodies.Mark your calendars for the accused’s next appearance on 24 July!
Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana maintained a respectful distance in the courtroom, but after the proceedings concluded, they unexpectedly shared a heartfelt moment.
In a video shared, Bester, who insisted that Nandipha and his co-accused were “innocent,” playfully whispered affectionate words to his rumoured girlfriend.He said, “I love you too. I got you.”. He then asked her, “Are you okay?” to which Nandipha nodded her head, according to The South African.

In March, Bester amusingly referred to Nandipha as his “former girlfriend” in court papers. The convicted rapist and murderer wasted no time in filing an urgent application to prevent streaming service Showmax from airing its documentary Tracking Thabo Bester.
Last year, the couple seemed quite affectionate in the dock, exchanging hugs, playful banter, and even holding hands.
As reported by GroundUp, Nandipha Maguumana started paying regular visits to Thabo Bester in prison back in 2017. Back in the day, Bester found himself stuck with not one, not two, but three concurrent life sentences. The court didn’t hold back, delivering these hefty punishments in 2011 and 2012. They faced charges for two counts of rape, one count of murder, and armed robbery with aggravating circumstances.
