However, two years later, he achieved his dream after representing Thabo Bester before the courts of law.

The now-viral Facebook post reads, “I just want to be famous, and I am not apologetic about it. I tried VenRap, I tried soccer, I tried marathon, I tried accounting.

“LLB is going to make me a celebrity lawyer. Please ask them to televise me when I appear.”

Against the trends, Mzansi has since flooded social media with congratulatory messages.

Moela seemingly took to social media to celebrate his big win, sharing photos and videos from the Bloemfontein High Court.

In one of the now viral photos, he addressed the judge as he advocated for relaxed conditions for Thabo Bester.

He also shared photos while speaking to celebrated senior advocate Dali Mpofu. Moela undoubtedly joins a host of defence attorneys who have represented Thabo Bester.

Thano Bester’s previous lawyers withdrew from the case, citing a string of challenges, including a lack of financial instructions and difficulties consulting with him while behind bars.

Bester is detained at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Services in Pretoria, Gauteng. However, his matter is being heard in Bloemfontein, Free State.

In his recent court hearings, Thabo Bester complained about how he was transported from Pretoria to Bloemfontein.

His legal team has also been trying to relax his incarceration conditions.

However, Judge Cagney Musi described their recent application as half-baked during his last court sitting.

Thabo Bester is set to return to court in February 2025 after his last court sitting on July 31.

THABO BESTER’S DEMANDS
Confirmed reports have it that Thabo Bester is incarcerated for 23 hours a day and only given one hour of exercise.

However, he is pleading with the courts for more free hours to avoid any mental health-related problems.

The Department of Correctional Services has downplayed Bester’s claims of being put in solitary confinement.

They also rubbished reports of Thabo Bester not having access to his legal team.
