The internet was split in two after one Big Brother Mzansi housemate used the term “molest” on the show

The internet was split in two after one Big Brother Mzansi housemate used the term “molest” on the show yesterday evening.

Many internet users took to X (the app formerly known as Twitter) to share their thoughts on the matter. A lot of these users urged Big Brother to disqualify the housemate, Yolanda Mukondeleli Monyai, for using an inappropriate sexual term against another housemate.

X users went as far as comparing the incident to Bravo B’s incident which got him disqualified.

One user wrote, “If they don’t disqualify Yolanda for what she said we need Bravo B back in the house with immediate effect! It’s the same case.”

Another one wrote that when women make such comments, they are always protected.

While this debate continued, other users shared the definitions of molest and how the term is supposed to be used: “Molest also means annoying someone. Yolanda is known for annoying the housemates.”

Another user wrote that the word is sexual only when used by a man but when used by a female, it means annoy.
