Two legendary actors, Kabomo Vilakazi and Zolisa Xaluva, are reportedly set to depart from Smoke and Mirrors this April.

As Zolisa Xaluva and Kabomo Vilakazi leave the show, Smoke & Mirrors prepares to say goodbye to them. Proven characters Mthetho and Caesar are about to depart from the etv telenovela Smoke and Mirrors, sources confirmed.

Zolisa Xaluva’s replacement on eTV’s telenovela Smoke & Mirrors has been announced as Hlomla Dandala.This comes after his contract was not renewed on the show due to a failure to reach common ground.

Xaluva’s character was that of Caesar, a ruthless businessman, but he would not be killed off, as previous reports stated.ZiMoja claims that neither Caesar’s character nor his death have been written off. Rather, they stated that veteran actor Hlomla Dandala is taking on the role. After filming is over, he returns to the show as a cast member for the second season.

Kabomo Vilakazi will make his last debut on April 12, 2024, as his character will be killed by Thandiswa after discovering that both he and her soon-to-be husband, Caesar, murdered her sister Sindi. Zolisa Xaluva will also make his last debut on the same day, as Hlomla Dandal will replace him on April 14, 2024.

The teasers confirm the exit of Kabomo Vilakazi: “Thandiswa learns Mthetho and Caesar were also involved in her sister’s murder, and she stabs Mthetho to death before walking down the aisle to marry Caesar.”

This April, Zolisa Xaluva leaves Smoke & Mirrors , while Hlomla Dandala arrives to take over, according to TVSA.TVSA has been told by Hlomla’s agent, Mari Rothmann of FigJam Agency, that Hlomla will portray Caesar in Season 2, which debuts on Monday, April 15.
