Two Young Women Brutally Murdered in Mamelodi East
Two young women were brutally killed on Sunday at Extension 17 in Mamelodi East in Tshwane around 4am.
The grieving family told Daily Sun that they are shocked by the incident and demand justice.
They said that neighbours allegedly told them they heard gunshots a few metres away from where they live, and the two female teenagers were found lying dead.

Itumeleng Moramaga (41) said her daughter Tshiamo Moramaga (22) and her sister’s daughter Baleseng Moramaga (21) were brutally murdered.
“When I came to the scene from Thembisa, the pathologists had put them inside a van. We don’t know who shot them.”
“One of my kids’ cellphones was stolen, and the other was still inside her pocket. They were always together. They went to crèche and school together,” she claimed.
She said that Baleseng was a student, studying teaching, and Tshiamo was doing beauty therapy, nails and hair.
“I’m shattered. I have two sons left, but my only daughter is dead. We want to know why my kids were killed,” she said.

Itumeleng said her hope lies with the police to find the killers.
Maggie Moramaga (45), the aunt of the teenagers, said that she was with them on Saturday, 25 October 2025 around 7:30pm.
They were talking about her late son Douglas Moramaga (27), who died in a car accident in 2023.
“I’m heartbroken. Why were they killed? They even accompanied me to my place, and they came back.”
“The neighbours say that they heard arguments, and Tshiamo saying, ‘Please leave me alone, you will make me make a mistake.’ After that, they heard gunshots,” she claimed.
Maggie said she wants justice for her two nieces.
Tshwane District Police spokesman Captain Johan van Dyk said: “On Sunday, 26 October 2025, at around 06:15, police officers from SAPS Mamelodi East were summoned to Sompisi Street, Extension 17, Mamelodi East, after community members discovered the bodies of two women.
