Vele Manenje remembers Mpho Sebeng.

keem Saam actress Vele Manenje reflects on the untimely passing of South African actor Mpho Sebeng, who tragically lost his life in a car accident just one month ago.

Tragically, the talented actor from Soweto met his tragic end in a car crash in Potchefstroom in the North West , at the young age of 30.Sebeng, with a career that lasted almost two decades, began his acting journey at the young age of 12. His impressive body of work included starring roles in popular TV dramas such as “Justice For All” and “Zero Tolerance,” both of which garnered critical acclaim and multiple awards.

The death of fellow actor Mpho Sebeng was characterised as “heartbreaking” by South African actress Vele Manenje in an Instagram post. Manenje described Mpho as a king, and everyone loved him. Check out her post below:

Mpho Sebeng, from Soweto, began acting at 12 after a family friend saw him in a primary school play and encouraged him. His first television appearances were on “Justice For All” and “Zero Tolerance,” which won several accolades.

Sebeng previously appeared in “Bay of Plenty” and e.tv’s “Scandal,” but “Ring of Lies” was his first major lead role on prime time.The 2018 South African Film and Television Awards nominated him for “Best Male Actor” in a telenovela for his performance.

In “Winnie,” Sebeng appeared with Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard, and in “The Jakes are Missing,” he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).He also starred in Netflix’s “Collision,” “The Brave Ones,” and “Hush Money”.
