Kelly Khumalo has rubbished a fake Facebook profile in her name following the backlash of a post praising Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.
The singer – who dated late national team goalie Senzo Meyiwa – clapped back at a screenshot of a post that went viral on social media.
Over the years, Kelly has faced public condemnation following her relationship with Meyiwa, who was shot and killed in her mother’s home in 2014. She’s even been called out for rumours of having a “relationship curse.”

Over the weekend, Ronwen Williams was named a national hero for his stellar performance in helping Bafana beat Cape Verde in the Afcon quarter-final game,
The goalie – who also plays for Sundowns – made history by saving four penalties in a 2-1 shoot-out. SA now progresses to the quarter-finals against Nigeria.
With widespread praise for Ronwen, a screenshot of a Facebook post seemingly belonging to Kelly Khumalo went viral.
In it, “Kelly” posted a picture of the 32-year-old, with the caption: “Hero.”

On the X platform, soccer fans went into overdrive by sharing their “concerns” for Ronwen’s safety.
Kelly – one of SA’s most cyberbullied celebrities – clapped back at the commentary on her Instagram Story. Posting a screenshot of the Facebook account, she shared: “Fake profile.”

Meanwhile, Ronwen Williams has revealed he is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend and baby mama Roshni.
The couple started dating in their late teens and welcomed their son Mikael a few years later.
In 2019, Ronwen told the Sowetan of their relationship: “I have known my girlfriend since I was very young, so she knows me from when I had nothing.”
He continued: “We started dating seven years ago, but we were friends for the longest time before that. As a footballer, you tend to attract many women, but I am glad that I have someone who knew me from the start and understands me.”
