WATCH: Bala brothers confirm Sebenzile Jafta has died

‘We were still watching and hoping that he will come back and be with us’: The Bala family confirmed the death of their ‘beloved father’.

Over the past weekend, the Bala brothers, Loyiso and Zwai took to Instagram and announced the sudden passing of their stepfather, Sebenzile Jafta – several fans have since shared their condolences as seen in their comment sections.

According to a statement shared on Loyiso Bala’s feed, Sebenzile Jafta passed away on Saturday, 10 February. His death was said to have come after the beloved father was hospitalised on Thursday.

“The Bala Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, Sebenzile Jafta… We express gratitude for the time spent with him. May his soul rest in peace,’ Loyiso wrote on his feed.

In another post, Loyiso shared a video with Jafta and captioned: “You will be sorely missed 💔 #RIPTatuJafta 🕊️.”

Taking to his feed, Zwai Bala also shared that the tragic news came as a shock to the family.

“We were still watching and hoping that he will come back and be with us… We wish his soul would rest in peace we are grateful for the opportunity we had with him,” Zwai wrote.

Jafta also starred alongside other family members in the Bala Family’s reality TV show which airs on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).
