WATCH: Dumisani Ndlazi alleges that ‘RHOD’s’ Nonku owes people money.

Dumisani Ndlazi is not backing down from defending himself after his ex-fiancée and #RHODurban star Nonku accused him of swindling her.

Businessman Dumisani Ndlazi – also known as “Rough Diamond” or “RD” – has once again opened up about his failed engagement to Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Nonku Williams.

The former couple, who were in a relationship for about a year before their break-up early last year, have been at loggerheads concerning their business dealings.

SCAMMING ALLEGATIONS

Nonku, who is a businesswoman in the construction industry, accused Ndlazi of stealing material worth R300 000 from her company while they were dating.

“He actually ended up stealing, by the way,” Nonku said during the second episode of the fourth season of RHOD.

“That man scammed me!” Nonku continued. “He stole material from the site worth R300 000.”

However, Ndlazi has vehemently denied the allegations. The Richards Bay-born entrepreneur also set his lawyers on Nonku, demanding that she apologise for defaming him.

DUMISANI NDLAZI CLAIMS NONKU IS IN DEBT

During a recent interview on the YouTube podcast Within With Hazel, Ndlazi maintained that he did not steal from Nonku. He told the host that he invested in Nonku’s company, claiming that she was in debt and on the brink of losing one of her cars when they were in a relationship.

“Even now I was still giving Nonku money [just] a couple of months ago,” Ndlazi said.

“I’ve never taken a single cent of Nonku. Instead, when one of her cars were about to get repossessed, I was helping her,” he added.

Ndlazi further said that when their relationship started, Nonku was a drunkard and she relied on anxiety tablets.

Going back to the scamming allegations, Ndlazi said that he is willing to pay Nonku double or even triple the amount she alleges he stole from her if the court finds him guilty.

“Nonku can’t even buy a bag of cement,” he continued. “When she is awarded a project, she asks people for help to buy the necessary material. She owes people.”

HARASSMENT CLAIMS

At the weekend, Zimoja reported that mother-of-three is accusing her ex-fiance of harassing her and her family.

A letter, written by Nonku’s lawyers, dated 19 February, reads: “In the circumstances, we are instructed to demand that your client provide us with a written undertaking that he will desist from harassing our client, either by contacting her family or business associates. Should your client not provide us with the required undertaking, we are instructed to institute the necessary legal proceeding to interdict your client from doing so. It goes without saying that should our client be obliged to act as such, that we are to seek punitive order costs against your client.”
