Jabu Pule Mahlangu celebrated Bafana Bafana’s Afcon win against Morroco by singing and dancing. South Africa secured its place in the quarter-finals with its win on 30 January at the Stade de San Pédro.

It was a close match, but the two goals from Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena sealed the win. The win silenced many haters, but the legendary midfielder sang and danced happily. He, however, spoke of how he missed the first part of the game due to load-shedding.

“We were only able to watch the Bafana bafana game at 22:30 because of Loadshading 😥 On to the next one 🙌🙌🙌” Jabu said.

Despite frustration, Jabu waited for the electricity to watch for the last few minutes.

During the match, Jabu spoke to fans, asking them to believe and support the team. He acknowledged Hugo Broos’s tactics in their game against Tunisia, saying they needed to proceed. Now that Bafana Bafana delivered at a higher stage, he could not help but sing and dance.

He sang the famous song ‘Phambili nge war’ and pulled off Zulu traditional dances. Mahlangu, however, asked for electricity during Bafana Bafana games going forward.

“No to loadshading moving forward when Bafana Bafana is playing games. Phambili nge WAR 💪🇿🇦👊🙌 @bafanabafanarsa” he said.
