SOUTH AFRICANS REACT TO DRICUS’ WIN

@mthobisi_maduna: “This is what he meant when he said he wanted to be the first true UFC African champion, others won and stayed in America another one took his title to New Zealand.”

@GbooiMolesedi: “He brought the belt to Africa unlike the other coconut champion that we forced to support. Real African Champion.”

@Kip_ur_head_up: “Nigeria never welcomed IZZY with this much love because Adesanya reps New Zealand, that brother lost asf. Dricus is truly and proudly a son of the soil. Welcome home champ even though I’ve never considered you a great fighter. You can change my opinion if you beat Khamzat.”

@DanielTkgaphola: “This is South Africa my country, we don’t listen to politicians we listen to our heroes. Dircus is our Hero.”
