Vocalist and actor Mbuso Khoza exits Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, Umkhokha, The Curse.
Khoza, who was born in Eshowe on KwaZulu Natal’s (KZN) North Coast, announced his exit from the soap opera on Wednesday via social media. He thanked Duma Ndlovu, the renowned award-winning playwright and director, for providing him with a platform to show his talent.
It is still unclear why his role was cut short on the soapie but close sources said that it is so he can focus on his new and soon to be launched Ndabezitha podcast,which will tackle more cultural issues affecting mostly the Zulu nation

Khoza played the role of Babu Maphalala in the telenovela, where he was very close with Inkosi uMvelase. ” I absolutely regret nothing. Spending time on UMkhokha has been indeed life changing, it has revived my brand as a vocalist. I’m happy to count it as one of my favourite blessings. Kwande,” he said.
