Comedian and TikToker Ofentse ‘Primo’ Baloyi, who’s the son of Lucas Radebe has secured a role in Mzansi Magic’s ‘Code 13’.

Content creator and comedian Ofentse “Primo” Baloyi is thankful for his latest role in drama series, Code 13.

NEW ROLE: ‘CODE 13’

The TikToker Primo Baloyi will star alongside actors Thami Mngqolo and Zolisa Xaluva in Seriti Films’ Code 13.

Baloyi tells Sunday World that he’s grateful to casting directors Thabang Mohlaba and Selai Ralarala, who discovered his acting skills.

“I have always been an actor, even with my content-creating, I define it as acting, where I put jokes and a lot more context and make it my own.”

He adds that he’s always wanted to act and has always been writing and acting since he got the opportunity at school.

When he got his first role on Lingashoni he realised that he could branch out properly without stressing too much.

Other actors who’ve joined the show include, Aluve Mjali, Lunathi Mampofu, Zikhona Bali, and Saint Seseli.

Mzansi Magic reports that Code 13 is set in the gritty heart of Joburg, which follows the story of Bheki Ndlovu (Zolisa Xaluva)..

Baloyi has also appeared in 1Magic’s Lingashoni and Netflix’s Soon Comes Night before landing the role in Code 13.

PRIMO BALOYI STEPPING OUT OF FATHER’S SHADOW

TshisaLIVE reports that the Code 13 actor Primo Baloyi, who’s the son of Lucas Radebe has carved his own path.

The actor wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps as he’s played for PSL teams Mpumalanga Black Aces and Bidvest Wits after matric.

He suffered injuries which changed the trajectory of his career which led him into entertainment industry.

Baloyi told the publication in 2023 that TikTok is the bridge which opens very wide doors, where you can just showcase your talent.

“I’m respected by comedians right now. They have embraced me. All these different industries have embraced me, and I think it makes me feel I need to try now. I need to be brave and go headfirst into acting, comedy, and everything I do,” he said.

The upcoming Mzansi Magic’s new drama series will premiere on Sunday, 14 April at 20:00 on channel 161.
