WATCH: Siya Kolisi spends week with kids

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi shared a look inside the week he spent with his kids while his wife, Rachel Kolisi returned to South Africa.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi spent the week with his two kids while his wife Rachel returned to South Africa for the week.

SIYA KOLISI SPENDS THE WEEK WITH KIDS

It seems dotting dad Siya Kolisi is ready for his wife, Rachel Kolisi to return home to Paris. Rachel revealed that she touched down in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday 15 April. While Siya was taking care of their two kids – Nicholas (9) and Keziah (6) in Paris for the week.

The Springboks captain shared a photo dump of photos with his kids from the week, which looks like a lot of fun. In the first slide, the Kolisi’s posed alongside Greek Tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas. Siya told his wife she could return home “any time now” in the caption of the post. Take a look…

“Week with these two ❤️. @rachelkolisi you can come back anytime now 😩,” he captioned the post.

Rachel revealed that she was on her way back home to Paris via her Instagram Stories on Thursday 18 April. She revealed that she was flying from Cape Town to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Paris.

“A whirlwind few days. But so productive, I love it here,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

WHY RACHEL KOLISI RETURNED TO SOUTH AFRICA

So, why was Rachel in South Africa after her family relocated to Paris? The Springboks first lady was in town for a Finding the Light Foundation event at the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town, in support of The Kolisi Foundation. She reunited with Siya’s two siblings – Liyema and Liphelo at the event.

Siya and Rachel founded The Kolisi Foundation in March 2020. The vision of the foundation is to change the stories of inequality in South Africa, to see thriving communities.

The Kolisi family moved to Paris, France in 2023. Rachel and the kids moved to the scenic city in August 2023. While Siya moved after he led the Springboks to win the Rugby World Cup on 28 October 2023. Siya then joined Paris-based rugby team Racing 92. The family of four now lives in Paris, but they do occasionally make trips back home to South Africa.

The Kolisi’s lived in Durban, South Africa before they left to Paris. Before then, Rachel and the kids lived in Cape Town along with Siya’s two siblings – Liyema and Liphelo. Siya hails from Zwide, a township in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.
