‘Awww! Kezi speaking in vernacular’: Siya Kolisi posted a video of his daughter speaking in Xhosa and had netizens gushing over her.
In a rare video posted by Rugby World Cup champion Siya Kolisi, his six-year-old daughter Keziah surprised social media users when she was heard speaking to her brother Nicholas (9) in Xhosa as seen in a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, 13 February.

In the clip, the Kolisi children could be seen spending some quality time, playing soccer with their mother, the Springbok captain’s wife, Rachel. Siya can be heard on the other side giggling, presumably behind the camera, capturing the adorable moment.
After several attempts to ask her brother to pass her the ball, Siya’s daughter can be heard saying: “Khabi bhola. Nic, khabi bhola.”
IN TRANSLATION: “Kick the ball. Nic, kick the ball”.
With all the excitement surrounding the recent 2023 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament, it seems the Kolisi’s have also taken interest in another sport either than rugby.
The South African national soccer team returned from participating in the Afcon tournament on Wednesday morning. They received a hero’s welcome from fans and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) at OR Tambo International Airport.
The Bafana Bafana players walked away with bronze medals after they were beaten by Nigeria in the semi-finals. But, not only that, ZiMoja reported that each of the Mzansi players bagged a whopping R1 million after coming in third place in the tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.
