WATCH: Skeem Saam actress Amanda Manku is officially off the market.

Amanda Manku, the actress from ‘Skeem Saam,’ is one of the celebrities to marry, following Nozi Langa, Pebetsi Matlaila, Cornet Mamabolo, and Clement Maosa.

Amanda Manku, a sports celebrity and actress who plays Dr Elizabeth Thobakgale on Skeem Saam, married in 2022.

4 January 2022, the actress revealed conventional wedding photos on her Instagram story.

Seasoned actress Amanda Manku – who plays the role of Dr Elizabeth Thobakgale on Skeem Saam is the sixth star after Nozi Langa, Pebetsi Matlaila, Innocent Sadiki, Cornet Mamabolo, and Clement Maosa from the show to tie the knot.

The actress took to her Instagram story last year (4 January) to share images of her traditional wedding.

She asks that everyone refer to her as ‘Mme Mtau’ from now on.

“Can’t wait to share the pictures with you guys. Oh, don’t forget to refer to me as Mme Mtau.”

Manku, who keeps her personal life private, originally uploaded a snapshot of herself and her spouse dressed in traditional attire on her Instagram feed last year (22 December).

“I’ll say it again, I was first in line when God was dishing out good men.”

At this point, it’s unclear who her mystery husband is because she’s still keeping his identity hidden.

Messages of congratulations have been coming in for the actress from industry pals such as Nozi Langa, Lerato Marabe, and Clement Maosa.

Amanda Manku had a heartbreaking 2021 as well, as she lost both her mother and grandma in May.

She stated on her social media pages that she had lost her parents, but she did not elaborate.

Manku described 2021 as the most difficult year of her life.

“This is by far the worst and most difficult year of my life,” she said. “As it comes to an end, strength to all those who lost loved ones this year.”

One thing my mother always told me, is to stop posting about my problems but right now, it’s hard. I want to vent! I want to understand!How can I loose my mother and grandmother at the same time? Who will I go to for comfort? For advice?

Other stars who enjoy their married life include, Innocent Sadiki who revealed on Instagram that she and her husband were celebrating 10 years of being married on October 2020. While Cornet Mamabolo, who plays the character of T Bose Maputla, is also married. Back in 2019, he trended on social media when snaps from the actors wedding made rounds.
