Somizi Mhlongo left many celebs laughing at the tricks he did during the Bafana Bafana match against Morocco.
South African choreographer Somizi Mhlongo did some tricks during Bafana Bafana’s win against Morocco. Bafana pulled off a shocker as they defeated Morocco 2-0 in their Africa Cup of Nations, Afcon’s round of 16 on 30 January.
Thanks to Evidence Makgopa and Teboho Mokoena’s strikes, South Africa is now in the quarter-finals. As the match went on, many South Africans became nervous, and Somizi was one of them. Some prayed some screamed, but Somizi jokingly supported the team, playing some tricks.
Sharing on his Instagram, Somizi did not caption his post, but he left many fans and celebrities laughing. Among them was Winnie Ntshaba, who was left speechless and laughing.

BAFANA’S AFCON HOPES
When Afcon started, many fans refused to support them, unsure of what they would produce on the field. Bafana Bafana had been known for disappointing their fans, but it seemed they were rewriting their name again. They came out of the group stages, and most fans on social media believed it was the best they could go
The fans could not believe they had knocked out a team that performed so well during the Fifa World Cup. Now that they are in the quarter-finals, many giants like Egypt and Senegal are already out. Indeed, the dreams are with Bafana Bafana to go on and win the trophy.
SOMIZI TRICKS DURING THE BAFANA MATCH LEFT FANS IN STITCHES
After Somizi shared a video of his tricks during the Bafana Bafana match against Morocco, many fans laughed. Even though he joked, he portrayed that he stopped Morocco from scoring by pointing at their players on the screen.
