The actors recently confirmed that Season 2 will be coming; Luyanda is leaving, and her character is set to be replaced.

Unconfirmed sources reveal that Lungelo Mpangase, best known as Niiwe from the e.t.v. cancelled drama Nikiwe, is on the list of actresses who will replace Luyanda Zwane’s character as Sibongile. The source reportedly disclosed that the talented actress Lungelo Mpangase is the one who will take over on the coming season 2, though it has not been confirmed yet.
Lungelo Mpangase is best known for her debut lead role as Khethiwe on the Mzansi Magic drama series eHostela and as Ntokozo in the Mzansi Magic series Mzali Wam.Her first big lead role was as Khethiwe, a young woman who aspires to become a maskandi star, in the Mzansi Magic drama series eHostela.
Since Luyanda is the main character, many people have made it obvious that her departure from the show will have a significant impact. The original character’s absence, according to social media users, will cost the show a lot of viewers.
