Zikhona Sodlaka bids farewell to Gqeberha: The Empire.
Gqeberha: The Empire star actress Zikhona Sodlaka’s goodbye left Lady Du and fans in tears on February 10th.Zikhona was one of the most popular actors in Gqeberha: The Empire. She appeared alongside experienced performers Zandile Msutwana, Thembinkosi Ngcukana, and Anele Matoti.
Many fans regarded Zikhona, who played Bulelwa Mxenge, as the show’s best actor. Zikhona left the show after the first season ended, and she never came back. She also never gave an explanation for her absence.
She left many fans guessing for about two months if it was true that she had left the show, but here is the goodbye. After Zikhona gave her farewell, she left many fans in tears; among them was musician Lady Du, who cried.

Sharing on her Instagram, the talented actress was honoured to be part of the show. She also thanked God for giving her the gift of acting.
“What a pleasure, an honour and a privilege it is to do what I do with all my heart.” she started. “Thank you, God, for the Gift I didn’t ask for & for paving my path, Always. Ndi bamba ngazo zozibini, kuni nonke…Kuboooooo!” she finished.
