Zolisa Xaluva confirmed return to Smoke & Mirrors.

Prepare to be pleasantly surprised as the incredibly talented Zolisa Xaluva makes a triumphant return to the world of smoke & mirrors. According to ZiMoja, it turns out Xaluva managed to strike a pretty sweet deal with the show’s producers, getting exactly what he wanted.

According to insiders at the eTV drama series, the multi-talented actor will be making a comeback as a director as well. Prior to his departure from the show in late 2020, Xaluva portrayed the captivating character of Caesar, a formidable and uncompromising boss.

Following the conclusion of season one, the talented actors found themselves at odds with the production company over financial matters. However, the actor quickly dismissed any claims of a dispute. Homla Dandala later stepped in to take over the role. According to insiders, it seems that Dandala’s portrayal of the character fell short of expectations, leaving viewers dissatisfied with his performance.

According to Zimoja the talented actor left the show because he was not happy with the way the show was run behind the scenes. “He was tired of unprofessionalism from crew hence he was offered the opportunity to direct,’ added the source

“He is now also playing a role of creative director behind the scenes and mentoring young on set.’ Apparently, his new contract has undergone some revisions, as per another source. The source mentioned that he had a rather humble attitude towards his comeback and requests.

Once again, the acclaimed actor has found himself in a familiar position, facing disappointment with producers. In 2022, his fans were taken aback when he confirmed rumours of his departure from the popular telenovela Gomora. It seems he had a burning desire to exercise his creative direction on the show. In 2014, Xaluva found themselves among the group of “Generations 16” actors who were let go due to a disagreement with producers regarding payment and royalties.
