Ayanda Thabethe Proudly Graduates with MBA from Henley Business School

Media personality and model Ayanda Thabethe has proudly marked a major milestone in her life. She recently shared the exciting news that she has officially graduated with her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Business School.
On 19 September in London, Ayanda walked the graduation stage, wearing her full regalia and a stunning black and white long figure-hugging dress. Sharing her joy, she posted:
“In London, on the 19th September, I walked the stage and graduated with my MBA from Henley Business School (University of Reading) and now I proudly join its circle of elite global business leaders. A monumental milestone and one for the books.”
The star received a flood of congratulatory messages from friends, family, and fellow celebrities. Her sister Lungile Thabethe shared her excitement, writing: “Soooo proud of you my sissy! You are set apart! The best role model.”
Award-winning content creator Mihlali Ndamase added, “Huge congratulations my love.” while DJ and actress Thuli Phongolo cheered her on, saying, “Yeah! SHE did THAT! So proud of you mama!”
This graduation comes after a long and emotional journey. Back in June 2021, Ayanda announced that she had been accepted into Henley’s Flexible Executive MBA Programme. She proudly posted her acceptance letter, which confirmed her enrolment for the intake starting on 28 June 2021. At the time, she expressed her excitement about starting a journey that would challenge her both academically and personally.
Nearly four years later, Ayanda has finally crossed the finish line. Earlier in May this year, she revealed that she had completed her MBA, a moment she described as both emotional and rewarding. In a heartfelt reflection, she wrote:
“In June 2021, I shared with you all that I was starting an MBA journey – and today, nearly four years later, I’m so proud to say: I did it! While many people believe in announcing only when things are done, publicly declaring this goal became part of my motivation to finish.”
Ayanda also shared the personal challenges she faced during her studies, including taking time off to welcome her two children. Despite the delays, she persevered and proudly revealed that she passed her thesis with distinction.
“A typical Henley Executive MBA takes around two and a half years – mine took four. But with determination, support from @henleyafrica, and God’s grace, I never lost sight of why I started,” she explained.
Now, Ayanda Thabethe stands tall as a graduate, inspiring many with her message of resilience: “To anyone standing at the beginning of something daunting – this is your sign. Start. And finish. Even if life interrupts you along the way.”
